Google confirmed that Gemini will be available not only in new cars but also as a software update for existing vehicles with Google built-in. The update will initially target English-speaking users in the US, with plans to expand globally.

General Motors has already announced Gemini’s arrival in 4 million vehicles from model year 2022 and newer, covering brands like Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC. However, Google’s broader rollout suggests many other manufacturers will also benefit.
